September 1 (BTA) - The 37th
Apollonia Festival of Arts in the coastal town of Sozopol, which
 will continue until September 6, features more than 40 cultural
 events. Participants include Bulgarian musicians, actors,
writers, painters, and artists, the organizers said.

Music lovers will be able to see some of the most successful pop
 and rock musicians like The Foundation, Poli Genova, Stefan
Valdobrev and The Usual Suspects. The band P.I.F together with
Vladimir УGrafaФ Ampov and Dicho will give a special concert on
September in memory of the bandТs lead vocal Dimo Stoyanov.
   
Cinema fans the festival's programme includes screenings of
popular Bulgarian films, such as Viktor Chouchkov's "18% Grey"
and Ivaylo Penchev "Last Call" with Oscar nominee Maria Bakalova
 in the lead role, as well as many others.

For theatre lovers, Apollonia offers, among others, Nikolay
Ouroumov's monodrama "Male All Souls' Day" and Valeri Yordanov's
 monodrama "Karakondzhoul".
 
Apollonia 2021 has a collection of unique master classes in
writing and jazz improvizations with writer Georgi Gospodinov
and singer Vasil Petrov. Then again, noted operatic singer
Alexandrina Pendatchanska will also have a master class.
Visitors will be able to meet popular Bulgarian writers and
purchase their books, including "Absolvo Te" by EU Prize for
Literature 2021 winner Georgi Burdarov.

All events will be held outdoors.
   
Apollonia Festival of Arts is the biggest and longest-held art
festival in Bulgaria. It is organized by Apollonia Foundation,
established in 1991. Its first edition was held in 1984 and
since then the festival has been attracting hundreds of artists
and thousands of Bulgarian and foreign art lovers annually.
