Sofia, September 24 (BTA) - During a meeting held behind closed doors here on Friday, the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) decided to issue licenses for trading in natural gas to five energy companies - MET Austria Energy Trade GmbH, Ares Trading EOOD, WIEE Bulgaria EOOD, Sviloza AD, WIEE Romania SRL, the regulator said.
Trading in natural gas is subject to licensure under the Energy Act and the Ordinance for licensing activities in the energy sector. The licenses have been issued for a period of ten years. The total number of companies licensed by EWRC to trade in natural gas now adds up to 17, the regulator said.MY
