Czech Republic Introduces
New Requirements for
Unvaccinated Arrivals from Bulgaria

Sofia, October 28 (BTA) - The Czech authories Wednesday introduced new entry requirements for unvaccinated arrivals from countries with a high or very risk of COVID-19 infection, including Bulgaria, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Thursday. According to information of the Bulgarian Embassy in Prague, unvaccinated arrivals from Bulgaria have to present a negative PCR test result not older than 72 hours prior travel and to do an additional PCR test between the fifth and seventh day after their arrival.

Rapid antigen test results are no longer recognized for entry in the country.

No restrictions apply for children aged under 12 and vaccination certificate holders.

All arrivals from Bulgaria should fill in a Passenger Locator Form in advance on https://plf.uzis.cz/ and present it at the border control checkpoint, unless transiting through the country for up to 12 hours.

Transiting passengers are also exempt from the requirement to present a negative PRC test result prior or after entry in the Czech Republic.
