Tirana, November 1 (BTA) - As of Monday Albania is launching vaccination of young people over 16, following a decision of the Technical Committee of Experts, the "Albanian Daily News" reported.
At it last meeting, the committee decided to lower the vaccination age threshold from 18 to 16, as well as to introduce a booster dose for people over 60.
Vaccines will also be accessible to children over 12 with concomitant diseases or compromised immune system. A booster dose will also be available to those who want it, providing six months after the second application have passed.
