site.btaTest Kits Arrive for Youngest Students, They Can Be Back to In-Person Classes as of Wednesday

Sofia, November 7 (BTA) - Much of the COVID tests that will be used for screening 1- to 4-graders in schools so that they can return to in-person classes, arrived at a Bulgarian Red Cross facility near Sofia during the weekend. Education Minister Nikolai Denkov (Left in photo) was there to make sure everything goes as planned.  180,000 test kits were distributed among 11 regional educational authorities, including 81,000 for Sofia. Another 220,000 test
kits are expected on Monday. Also on Monday, an order by the Education Minister will describe in detail the testing
procedure. By Monday noon, it will be clear how many parents agree to have their children tested, and if the parents of half of children in a class agree, in-person classes can resume. Chidren will be tested before school on Monday and Thursday. BTA Photo
