(BTA) - National Ombudsman Diana Kovacheva has sent a recommendation to caretaker Energy Minister Andrey Zhivkov insisting on the development of a temporary compensation mechanism for all household natural gas consumers due to the extremely high prices this fall/winter season and the expected high heating utility bills, the Ombudsman's press centre said here on Monday.

Kovacheva stressed that natural gas prices for household consumers rise every month, especially during the last three months, while electricity and heating prices are unchanged since July 1, 2021 and will remain stable at least until the end of the year. MT/KK
