site.btaCentre for Analysis and Marketing Study: The Number of Bulgarians who Do Not Intend to be Vaccinated is Decreasing

November 11 (BTA) - The number of Bulgarians who do not
intend to be vaccinated is decreasing, show data from a national
 representative survey of the Centre for Analysis and Marketing,
 which was presented at BTA by Director Yuliy Pavlov. The survey
 was ON attitudes towards the parliamentary and presidential
elections on November 14, but also includeD questions about
vaccination.

    The survey reported that as of November 8, 31.4 per cent of
respondents said they do not plan to be vaccinated at this
stage. For comparison - as of October 26 this percentage was
33.2 per cent, and as of October 10 - 40.1 per cent.

    The data from the survey also show that as of November 8,
the respondents who said they have already been vaccinated are
27.8 per cent. For comparison, this percentage as of October 26
was 25.8 per cent, as of October 10 - 25. per cent.

    Respondents who plan to be vaccinated against COVID-19
within a month are 8.4 per cent and 11.7 per cent are ready to
be vaccinated, but plan to wait and see for themselves the
effect of the vaccines. A total of 17.2 per cent answered that
they've already had the virus..

    There is some positive results from the Green Certificate
requirement, the number of vaccinated has recently increased,
Pavlov commented.

    The study was commissioned and funded by the Centre for
Analysis and Marketing and was conducted in the period  November
 4 - 8, 2021. A total of 1016 adult Bulgarian citizens took part
 in it through a direct standardized face-to-face interview. One
 per cent of all respondents corresponds to 58,000 people.  DT//
