site.btaGERB-UDF Remains in Lead with 24.1% of Voters, Continue the Change, BSP Compete for Second Place, Alpha Research Says

November 11 (BTA) - GERB-UDF retains its leadership
position with the support of 24.1 per cent of those who are
determined to vote, thus increasing their lead on their direct
opponents, according to a study by Alpha Research released on
Thursday.     

Continue the Change with 16.5 and BSP with 16 per cent are
competing for the second place.       

Democratic Bulgaria with 10.2 per cent, There Is Such a People
with 9.9 per cent and MRF with 9.8 per cent are the other three
parties that will certainly make it into the next National
Assembly.    

Two other formations are close to crossing the four per cent
threshold and retain a chance to be in Parliament: Revival with
3.8 per cent and Rise Up BG! Here We Come! by 3.6 per cent.     
 

In the presidential race, Rumen Radev, who is running for a
second term, leads with 46.4 per cent.      

In the second round, the runoff will be between Rumen Radev and
Anastas Gerdjikov, who entered the last week of the campaign
supported by 28.3 per cent.     

Mustafa Karadayi (8.8 per cent) and Lozan Panov (6.9 per cent)
are the other two candidates with a more significant share of
supporters.        

Five days before Election Day, some 48 per cent of eligible
voters say they are ready to vote, while others, about a
quarter, are hesitant.

The current study was conducted in the period 7-9 November 2021
by Alpha Research; it is published on the website of the agency
and is realized with own funds. The survey was conducted among
1,017 adult citizens across the country. A stratified two-stage
sample with a quota on the main socio-demographic
characteristics was used. The information was collected through
a direct standardized interview with tablets in the homes of the
 respondents. Alpha Research is responsible for the data and
interpretation published on its website, but not for the
selective or manipulative use of such data. According to Art.
205 (para. 1 - 4) of the Election Code, any media outlet that
uses data from the present survey is obliged to report the
information in this box.
