Sofia, July 29 (BTA) - Four passenger train services between Sofia and Pernik were suspended for nearly two hours on Tuesday as the tracks were blocked by residents of Sofia's Roma-inhabited Fakulteta Quarter, the Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ) said.

The civil disobedience took place in support of Roma in Stara Zagora (Southeastern Bulgaria), whose unlawful houses were demolished by the authorities last week.

The BDZ explained that they were not notified in advance of the protest.
