Movement for Rights and Freedoms to Vote against 2015 National Budget Bill, Budgets of Public Social Insurance, National Health Insurance Fund
Sofia, December 5 (BTA) - The Movement for Rights and Freedoms
(MRF) will not support the 2015 National Budget Bill, or the
budgets of public social insurance and of the National Health
Insurance Fund, because they do not include reforms while
expenditure increases, including for health care, MRF leader
Lyutvi Mestan said, speaking to reporters on Friday.
"The MRG parliamentary group will vote firmly against the public
social insurance budget due to the criminal almost double
increase of the contributory burden to the most vulnerable small
farmers," Mestan said. He described the proposed budget as "an
absolutely wrong and criminal solution" as it will send the
small farmers into the shadow economy, if the contributory
threshold is increased to 420 leva, from the current 240 leva.
"The attitude towards the budget structures Parliament into
ruling and opposition forces and in the present National
Assembly we will not act guided by a self-serving opposition
reflex. We have serious substantial arguments not to support
these budgets," Mestan said.
On Thursday the Bulgarian Democratic Centre too said they were
not going to support the 2015 state budget.
