Environment and Water Ministry Makes Available 3.5 Million Leva for Small Projects of
Municipalities, Children's Establishments

Sofia, January 19 (BTA) - The Environment and Water Ministry
will make available 3.5 million leva this year as well in the
campaign called, "For a Clean Environment," Environment and
Water Minister Ivelina Vassileva told a news conference Monday.

The annual campaign which is held for the 12th year running
provides funding for small projects of local powers,
kindergartens and schools. Municipal projects are eligible for
financing of up to 10,000 leva, while projects of children's
establishments, up to 5,000 leva.

The approved projects will be announced on April 3. Vassileva
said that the highest marks will be given to projects whose
implementation includes children's involvement. Some of the more
 interesting projects are for open-air playgrounds and herbal
gardens in schools.
