Culture Ministry to Support Entry of Actress Stoyanka Moutafova in Guinness Records
as Longest-playing Actress on Stage


Sofia, January 19 (BTA) - The Ministry of Culture will support
the official letter with which the Union of Bulgarian Actors
will request Stoyanka Moutafova to be entered in the Guinness
Book of World Records as the actress with the longest record of
playing on stage in the world, Culture Minister Vezhdi Rashidov
said at a Monday meeting with the actress, his ministry said.
    
Rashidov wished the Bulgarian Queen of Comedy to continue to be
as energetic as she has ever been so that the public may enjoy
her wonderful talent, charm and youthful spirit.
    
Moutafova expressed her gratitude for the wishes and for
receiving the ministry's most prestigious award, the Golden Age
with collar, which was conferred on her on her 90th birthday.
     
The application of the phenomenal Moutafova will undoubtedly be
approved at the Guinness headquarters - the Bulgarian actress
appeared on the stage of the National Theatre for the first time
 in the distant 1945, while she was still a student at the State
 Theatrical Academy, the ministry said.
