Chinese President Xi Jinping Book
"China Dream" Presented
in Sofia


Sofia, January 20 (BTA) - The Bulgarian edition of "China Dream"
by Chinese President Xi Jinping, with selected excerpts from
his speeches and statements, was launched in Sofia Monday.
Bulgaria is the first country to initiate its own translation of
the book, said Prof Peter-Emil Mitev, who presented the
publication.

The presentation was attended by President Rosen Plevneliev,
former President Peter Stoyanov and former Vice President Angel
Marin, caretaker prime minister Georgi Bliznashki, Bulgarian
Socialist Party Chairman Mihail Mikov and a delegation from
China.

China is Bulgaria's most important partner in Asia, Plevneliev
said in his address. Relations between the two countries are
excellent, political dialogue is intensive and has become even
more dynamic in recent years. The President also dwelt on the
increasing economic cooperation between the two countries, as a
result of which trade is now exceeding 1,800 million dollars,
many Chinese companies are operating successfully in Bulgaria,
not to mention that Bulgarian products are traditionally
