Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev Visits Austria

Vienna, March 17 (BTA exclusive by Tsvetana Delibaltova) -
Bilateral relations, the energy sector, the Western Balkans and
Ukraine dominated the talks between Bulgarian President Rosen
Plevneliev and his Austrian counterpart Heinz Fischer.
Plevneliev is on a working visit to Austria Tuesday and
Wednesday.

After the talks between the two Heads of State, the Spokeswoman
for the Federal President, Astrid Salmhofer, told BTA that
President Fischer expressed satisfaction with the quality of
political relations and the good economic cooperation.

The two sides also agreed that the political situation remains
complex in Ukraine.

They expressed the will of their countries to continue
cooperation on bilateral and multilateral level.

President Plevneliev is among the guests at a function held by
the Austrian Economic Chamber Tuesday evening with the
participation of Austrian business representatives.

On March 18, he will visit the capital of the state of Lower
Austria, Sankt Polten, where he will confer with Lower Austria's
Governor Erwin Proll and address the local Parliament.
