Ataka Leader Siderov Calls on Politicians to Avoid  Topics Related to Ethnic Conflicts

Sofia, April 8 (BTA) - Ataka leader Volen Siderov Wednesday
called on all politicians to avoid the topic of interfaith and
interreligious incompatibility and issues related to ethnic
conflicts. Speaking at a briefing in Parliament, he added that
the situation is very concerning and everyone should think about
behaving responsibly. "I understand that some parties derive
benefit from this, but at the moment this is very dangerous," he
noted.

In Siderov's words, in the last two weeks US military machinery
was brought to Bulgaria, which was presented not very
convincingly as military exercises. The goal, however, is
different, he added.

In the last ten days, Bulgaria was visited by "civil art
experts" from the CIA and the Pentagon, who examined schools and
hotels for the purpose of refitting them for headquarters, and
hospitals for the purpose of admitting service members if
necessary, the Ataka leader said further. He added that the
Education Ministry and the Defence Ministry assisted in this.

According to Siderov, the military exercises are only a facade.
In his words, interethnic and interfaith clashes are being
planned so as to justify the presence of the troops and military
machinery. In his words, the scenario which will be imposed
from abroad is that such clashes should be prepared artificially
so that the pacifying role of the US' NATO troops can be
justified. The Ataka leader warned all politicians, commentators
and media against talking about any religion and presenting it
as dangerous.
