Stockholm, April 15 (BTA) - Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister for
European Policy and Institutional Affairs Meglena Kuneva, who is
on a working visit to Stockholm, said Bulgaria relies on
Sweden's support for its entry in the Schengen area. After
meeting with Justice and Migration Minister Morgan Johansson and
Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom, Kuneva said Sweden also
committed to support Bulgaria before the other Nordic countries
in the run-up to the June European Council meeting which may
discuss the matter.

Kuneva and Johansson also discussed possible cooperation in the
fight against corruption, especially the methodology of
anonymous tip-offs and the protection of people reporting
corruption. The Swedish Justice Minister will visit Bulgaria in
September.

Kuneva also met with Strategic Development and Nordic
Cooperation Minister Kristina Persson. The two discussed
possible Swedish investments in Bulgaria, including biomass
production in the Northwest, and ways to increase the flow of
