Health Minister, Trade Unions Agree on Holding Regular Meetings of Sectoral Council of Tripartite Cooperation in Healthcare


Sofia, May 20 (BTA) - Health Minister Peter Moskov and Plamen
Dimitrov, President of the Confederation of Independent Trade
Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB), reached an agreement on Tuesday on
convening regularly the Sectoral Council of Tripartite
Cooperation in Healthcare, before which Minister Moskov will
present the legislative initiatives of his team, the Health
Ministry Press Service said on Wednesday.

A mechanism for changing the model of setting employment income
will be developed within the Sectoral Council with the purpose
of raising working wages across the sector.

Minister Moskov has accepted a CITUB demand to include the
representative organizations of employees and employers in the
bodies constituting the National Health Card.

CITUB voiced support for the goals of the reform and the
proposed steps for its implementation will be an object to
discussions in the future.
