Assets Managed by Investment Funds Total 2,410.9 Million Leva at End of June 2015

Sofia, August 20 (BTA) - As at the end of June 2015, the assets
managed by local and foreign investment funds operating in
Bulgaria totalled 2,410.9 million leva, the National Bank of
Bulgaria said. The amount is 29.6 per cent higher year-on-year
and 3.7 per cent up compared to March 2015.

In terms of share in the Gross Domestic Product, the assets were
 5.6 per cent, against 4.4 per cent at the same time a year ago.
 
The assets of local investment funds totalled 1,040.6 million
leva, up 25.3 per cent year-on-year.

The assets of funds investing in stocks increased 64.5 per cent
to 397.7 million leva year-on-year. The assets of balanced funds
 grew by 86.9 million leva to 211.2 million leva year-on-year.

The assets of funds investing in bonds decreased by 7.2 per cent
 to 429.9 million leva year-on-year.
