PM Borissov Leaves on Official Visit to Turkmenistan


Sofia, August 23 (BTA) - Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov leaves on an official visit to Turkmenistan August 24 and 25, said the government press office. On his delegation are Regional Development Minister Liliyana Pavlova and the Bulgarian Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Maya Hristova.

Borissov will be meeting with President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The two sides' plenary delegations will discuss the prospects for bilateral cooperation, ways to strengthen economic contacts and other issues of shared interest.

Two documents will be signed: an agreement on cooperation between the Bulgarian Ministry of Regional Development and the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan, and a cooperation agreement between Bulgaria's agency for small and mid-sized enterprises and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
