Non-government Sector Deposits in Banking System Total  Lv 60.097 Bln in July 2015

Sofia, August 26 (BTA) - At  the  end  of  July 2015,  the
deposits of  the non-government  sector totalled 60.097 billion
leva (71.6 per cent  of  GDP),  increasing  annually  by 4.8 per
 cent, data of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) show.

The deposits  of  non-financial  corporations amounted to 16.440
 billion leva (19.6 per cent  of  GDP)  at  the  end  of  July 
2015, which is an increase by 7.7 per cent compared  to  July
2014. The deposits of financial corporations decreased by 16.4
per cent annually  in  July 2015, reaching 2.821 billion leva
(3.4 per cent  of  GDP). 

The deposits  of  households  and  non-profit institutions
serving households (NPISHs) totalled 40.836 billion leva (48.6
per cent of GDP) at  the  end of July 2015,  increasing by 5.5
per cent compared to the same month of 2014.

At  the  end  of  July 2015, claims on loans to the
non-government sector amounted to 50.187 billion leva (59.8 per
cent of  GDP), decreasing by 10 per cent annually.

Loans to  non-financial corporations dropped by 14.6 per cent
annually to 30.687 billion leva (36.5 per cent of GDP) at the
end of July 2015.

Loans to households and NPISHs  amounted to 18.308 billion leva
(21.8 per cent of GDP), down by 1.7 per cent compared to July
2014 (1.8% annual decline in June 2015). Loans for house
purchases totalled 8.686 billion leva, a decrease by 2.2 per
cent annually. Consumer loans amounted to 7.360 billion leva, up
 by 0.05 per cent compared to July 2014. Other loans decreased
by 11.6 per cent on an annual  basis to 728.7 million leva.

Loans extended to financial corporations totalled 1.192 billion
leva (1.4 per cent of GDP) at the end of July 2015, down by 1.2
per cent compared to the like month of 2014.
