Bulgarian Prime Minister Borissov, Slovak Defence Minister Glvac Watch Military Exercise in Shabla

Shabla, Northeastern Bulgaria, August 27 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov Thursday took the salute of the guard of honour of Shabla 2015, the tactical exercise with combat practice held at the AF training ground in the town of Shabla. The exercise was also watched by Defence Minister Nikolai Nenchev, Slovak Defence Minister Martin Glvac, ambassadors, military attaches and foreign observers.

Air Forces Commander Major General Roumen Radev said that the combat exercise is the biggest one this year for the Bulgarian Armed Forces. Radev said this is the first exercise at the Shabla training ground held within the NATO, and the first one to train all elements of the modern military operation.

More than 750 service people from the Air Forces, 460 from the Land Forces, more than 200 from the Navy, teams from the Military Police and the Border Police, along with 60 servicemen from an air defence division of the Slovak Armed Forces take part in the exercise.
