Culture Minister Leaves on Working Visit to Germany

Sofia, September 11 (BTA) - Culture Minister Vezhdi Rashidov Friday left on a working visit to Germany, his ministry said in a press release on Friday.

On Saturday Rashidov will attend the official presentation of the biggest Bulgarian-German opera project of 2015 - "The Ring of the Nibelung" of the Sofia Opera and Ballet, which will be performed at the Festival Theatre in Fussen. The project is financially supported by the Culture Ministry, other institutions, donors and patrons from Bulgaria and Germany.

The presentation of Wagner's tetralogy in Bavaria will take place from September 12 to 17. In this way the Sofia Opera and Ballet mark the beginning of a new opera festival in Fussen that will be held annually in early autumn, the press release reads.
