BTA to Present Only Annual Report in Parliament

Sofia, September 23 (BTA) - The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) will present in Parliament only an annual report on its activity, including a financial report, the National Assembly decided Wednesday by adopting amendments to the BTA Act.

Prior to these changes, the BTA Director-General had until October 31 to present for debate in Parliament a report on the agency's activity, including a financial report, during the first half of the year. An annual report, including a financial one, was due by April 30 the following year.
