Sofia, December 9 (BTA) - Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister Atanas Pekanov said here Thursday that two sectors in the National Recovery and resilience Plan - energy and rule of law, have attracted the greatest number of questions from the European Commission. The Minister was speaking in Parliament during Question Time, answering a question from Socialist MP Dragomir Stoynev.

Pekanov said that part of the expectations of the EC concern the reform in the Bulgarian Energy Holding.

As far as rule of law is concerned, the EC raises the question about the person expected to perform investigations of the Prosecutor General, Pekanov said.

He did not confirm whether the EC has made recommendations to the plan or how many they are. RY/ZH//
