Bulgarian Energy Minister to Attend Inauguration of Turkmenistan's East-West Gas Pipeline

Sofia, December 22 (BTA) - Bulgarian Energy Minister Temenouzhka Petkova will attend the inauguration of the East-West Pipeline in Turkmenistan which will carry natural gas from gas fields in the east of the country to the coast of the Caspian Sea, the Energy Ministry said on Tuesday.

Petkova has been invited to the ceremony by Turkmenistan's Minister of Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources Muhammetnur Khalilov.

The event will take place in the Balkan Region (an administrative region in Turkmenistan bordering the Caspian Sea) on Wednesday.
