Checks Start of Lorries, Buses in TISPOL Operation

Sofia, February 13 (BTA) - In February 13 to 19 the police will perform checks of lorries and buses as part of an operation conducted in all countries members of the European Traffic Police Network, TISPOL, the Interior Ministry said.

The checks will be for carriage of illegal migrants and trafficking in humans, possession and carriage of drugs, illegal substances, firearms, contraband goods. People on missing lists and persons wanted for criminal offences will be tracked down as well.
