Hungarian PM Orban Congratulates Boyko Borissov on Third Term in Office

Sofia, May 6 (BTA) - Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has congratulated Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov on his third term in office as head of the executive branch of government, the Government Information Service said on Saturday.

Orban notes that he is open to cooperation for the purpose of further enhancing the excellent bilateral relations between Hungary and Bulgaria.

"I am ready to carry on our joint projects so as to deepen our economic cooperation and advance the link between our nations," the Hungarian head of government adds.

Orban wishes Borissov success in his new term and in his responsible work. He hopes for continued cooperation on matters concerning the future of the European Union, especially with regard to the migrant crisis, considering that the two countries have made tremendous efforts to protect Europe. "I am convinced that together we will be able to respond promptly and effectively to present and future European and global challenges," Orban notes, adding that he is looking forward to meeting Prime Minister Borissov in the near future and to working again together with him.
