Evgeni Dikov is First Elected Member of Supreme Judicial Council for Next Term

Sofia, May 21 (BTA) - National Investigation Service Director Evgeni Dikov became the first elected member of the Supreme Judicial Council for the next term. Dikov's bid for the job was supported by 296 out of 444 judicial investigators eligible to vote. The other votes were invalid.

He was the only candidate for the investigator's position. The election was conducted online and with paper ballots. Dikov will take up his new post in the autumn.

Prosecutors will gather for a general meeting next week to hear out the candidates to the Prosecutors' College in the Supreme Judicial Council.
