site.btaParliament Overcomes President's Veto on Counter-Corruption Act

Sofia, January 12 (BTA) - The National Assembly Friday overcame the presidential veto on the Counter-Corruption and Unlawfully Acquired Asset Forfeiture Act. With 146 votes in favour and 76 against, the MPs re-voted on the act without any revisions.

BSP for Bulgaria was the only parliamentary group to support the head of State's veto and vote against the new counter-corruption legislation.
