site.btaPM Borissov Congratulates Macedonian Counterpart on Ratification of Treaty on Good Neighbourly Relations

Sofia, January 16 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov congratulated his Macedonian counterpart Zoran Zaev on the ratification of the Treaty on Good Neighbourly Relations with Bulgaria by the Macedonian Parliament, the Cabinet's press service said. The two had a telephone talk on Tuesday.

The document was signed last year in Skopje. During the talk Borissov and Zaev agreed that the Treaty guarantees a sustainable establishment of friendly relations between the two country and serves as a steady basis for cooperation in the region on the basis of European values.

Zaev wished the Bulgarian Prime Minister success in presenting the priorities of the EU Council in Strasbourg on Wednesday.
