Sofia, January 18 (BTA) - Investor trust in Bulgaria is being renewed and this shows that the government is leading a successful policy, Economy Minister Emil Karanikolov told a news briefing on Thursday.

The Minister awarded three Class A investment certificates to Amylum Bulgaria, Kastamonu Bulgaria and Witte Automotive Bulgaria.

Since the beginning of 2018, ten investment certificates, worth a total of 588 million leva have been issued, which will bring 877 new jobs.

In 2017, a total of 31 projects worth over 300 million leva with some 5,000 new jobs were certified.

For his part, Deputy Economy Minister Luchezar Borissov said that according the latest statistical data investments drove economic growth, growing 4.3 per cent, outspacing consumption and exports.

Taking a question, Karanikolov said that a map is being developed that will show investors what businesses are located in regions across the country.

Asked about new contracts prepared by Kintex, Karanikolov said that Kintex will work to supply contracts for both state-owned and private defence companies. Such a contract will be signed with Dunarit soon.
