Sofia, January 23 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and Russian Ambassador to Sofia Anatoly Makarov held a working meeting to discuss the development of the bilateral relations, the government's information service said on Tuesday.

Energy and tourism were noted as areas of mutual interest.

Ambassador Makarov congratulated Borissov on the start of Bulgaria's EU Presidency and the convincing defence of the priorities of the Presidency before the European Parliament. The Russian diplomat expressed a hope that Bulgaria will work for improving the dialogue between the EU member states and Russia.
