site.btaSalaries of Engine Staff of Bulgarian State Railways Increased

Sofia, February 6 (BTA) - The Board of Directors of the Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ) Holding EAD has passed a resolution to increase the salaries of the engine staff in the passenger and cargo divisions of the holding, the company said.

The increase, retroactive to January 1, 2018, is between 11 per cent and 12.5 per cent, depending on the position.

The increase was made possible by the reforms in the company and its improved financial standing.
