to Partner in Opening Trade Representations

Sofia, August 9 (BTA) - The Economy Ministry and the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) will partner in public-private partnership in posting of cpmmercial attaches abroad, the Economy Ministry said in a press release Thursday. An agreement to this effect was reached by Deputy Economy Minister Alexander Manolev and BCCI Chairman Tsvetan Simeonov.
The two found that in many countries and regions there is untapped trade and investment potential due to the absence of sufficient resources of the trade and business affairs service in the respective country. The Economy Ministry and BCCI will exchange information and map out steps to create an integrated network of trade representations abroad.
Manolev and Simeonov also discussed the shortage of skilled labour in some sectors, and the preparation of the Bulgarian participation in the third summit of the Three Seas initiative in Bucharest in on September 17 and 18. LY/ZH
