Bulgaria Elected to Executive Council of
Organization for Prohibition of
Chemical Weapons


Sofia, November 20 (BTA) - At its 23rd annual conference, the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) Monday unanimously elected Bulgaria to its Executive Council for the 2019-2021 period, said the Foreign Ministry press office.

The Executive Council is the top decision-making body of the OPCW.

The Foreign Ministry says that the decision of the organization's annual conference is a recognition for the good standing of Bulgaria before the OPCW. LY/LN/
