Vienna/Sofia, November 20 (BTA) - On Monday, Minister for the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU Liliyana Pavlova received the prestigious Annual Award of the Vienna Economic Forum for Bulgaria's partnership at the forum and for contributing to the development of regional economic cooperation during the Presidency, her press office reported Tuesday.

Mottoed Vienna Future Dialogue 2018 Economy Meets Politics, this is the forum's 15th jubilee edition and is part of a series of official events for the Austrian EU Council Presidency. It is held under the auspices of Austria's Federal Chancellor Sebastian Kurz.

At the forum, Pavlova said the Balkans are a region of huge potential and that regional economies are developing fast. She said young people have started returning to their homelands, including Bulgaria. According to her, the Bulgarian digital sector develops well and provides employment and high income. LI/TH
