site.btaInterior Minister Marinov: Macedonian-Bulgarian Communication Is Excellent

November 27 (BTA) - The communication between Bulgaria
and Macedonia is excellent both at the political and the
professional level, Bulgarian Interior Minister Mladen Marinov
said at a meeting with his Macedonian counterpart Oliver
Spasovski here on Tuesday. Bulgaria is ready to help Macedonia
on its way to Europe, he also said, as quoted by his ministry.

The two ministers praised highly the contacts achieved at the
operational level and the opportunities for their development.
They rallied around the position that transnational crime is a
challenge to law enforcement bodies' international cooperation.

Spasovski said that citizens need to feel secure, which depends
to a large extent on the interaction with neighbouring states.
Macedonia is following a path that Bulgaria has walked on and it
 pursues its goals: membership in NATO and the EU, he also said.
 In his words, Bulgaria's experience is important, and the
advise of friends will be of valuable help to the achievement of
 these goals.
