as Contractor to Build
Bulgaria-Greece Gas Interconnector
Sofia, May 14 (BTA) - J&P AVAX S.A. of Greece has been announced as the contractor for the design, procurement and construction (EPC) of the gas interconnector Bulgaria-Greece, the ICGB AD project company said on Tuesday.
The estimated value of the public procurement is 145 million euro excluding VAT, and the deadline for completion of the procurement is 18 months after the performance begins.
Eleven Bulgarian and foreign companies and consortia had expressed initial interest in the public procurement and submitted requests for participation in the first phase of the procedure.
Construction works are expected to start in June. LY/ZH
