President's Administration Raises Donations
for Ball of School Leavers
from Social Care Facilities


Sofia, May 18 (BTA) - The Administration of the President is raising donations for a ball for school leavers from social care facilities as part of the Support a Dream charity initiative. President Rumen Radev will host the event on May 30, his press secretariat said.

Radev thanked the donors who have espoused the initiative over the years. "You donate an exciting experience to those young people. Your generosity ensures the future students' financial support, otherwise provided by the family," the President said in an address to all who want to make a donation.

Part of the donations cover the cost of the ball organized by the Administration of the President, and the rest is shared in the form of one-off grants among the school leavers who go to a higher school or a vocational college and the Grade 12 top achievers in the 2019-2020 school year.

More than 100 school leavers from social care facilities are looking forward to the ball. Thirty-four young people will get their ball outfits and hairstyles from the Fashion Academy and Christian of Roma. LN/DD
