December 10 (BTA) - Bulgaria's average contributory
income in October stood at 1,002.75 leva, said the National
Social Security Institute. The average monthly contributory
income for the period between November 1, 2018 and October 31,
2019 was 969.47 leva.

Under the Social Insurance Code, the average monthly
contributory income is used in calculating the new pensions
awarded in November 2019. RI/DD
