site.btaSofia Airport Receives Health Accreditation from Airports Council International

June 30 (BTA) - Sofia Airport, which is the biggest international airport in Bulgaria, has received health accreditation from Airports Council International (ACI), the global trade representative of the world's airports, SOF Connect, the owner of a 35-year concession for Sofia Airport, said here on Wednesday.

The accreditation is a recognition of SOF Connect's work to put in place proper anti-epidemic measures and ensure a safe environment.

The health accreditation assesses the world's best practices concerning airports' health and safety, including all aspects of passenger services and airport activities, such as cleaning and disinfection, health control, ensuring proper physical distance and protected space for staff and passengers, communication and awareness.
