July 2 (BTA) - The new interim leadership of the state-owned Avtomagistrali EAD has been entered into the Commercial Register, the Regional Development and Public Works Ministry said here on Friday. It is expected to take office on Friday.

The new Board of Directors includes Valentin Vulkov, Dessislava Hristova and Ivan Stanchev.

In early June, Regional Development Minister Violeta Komitova dismissed the current leadership after a National Audit Office probe found irregularities and revealed that the company has been making unwarranted advance payments for planned work on the Hemus Motorway.

The Sofia City Court halted twice the entry into the Commercial Register of the new leadership on the grounds that the board should consists of five members instead of three, who have to be selected in a competition. RY/PP
