October 3 (BTA) - Jannik Sinner of Italy won the Sofia Open tennis tournament at Arena Armeec in the Bulgarian capital. No. 1 seed Sinner defeated No. 2 seed Gael Monfils of France 6:3, 6:4 in Sunday's singles final at the ATP 250 men's tournament, which has a purse of 481,270 euro. This is Sinner's second Sofia Open title in two years.



The doubles title went to Jonny O'Mara and Ken Skupski. The British tandem overcame No. 3 seeds Oliver Marach and Philipp Oswald 6:3, 6:4 in the final earlier on Sunday. VE
