Sofia, November 17 (BTA) - As a fair approach in updating the incomes of all pensioners, a draft decree of the Council of Ministers proposes social pensions for old age to be raised from 148.71 leva to 170 leva per month, as of December 25 2021. The draft decree has been released for public discussion.

The change will lead to an increase in pensions, unrelated to employment, as by law the amount of such pensions is determined according to the old-age social pension. VE/YV/
