Sofia, July 28 (BTA) - The monthly per capita cost of living in a family of four with two dependent children amounted to 559.95 leva at the end of June, Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria Vice President Nikolai Nenkov told a news conference here on Monday.

A household consisting of two adults and two children need some 2,240 leva monthly to cover their spending on food, education and rest by average Bulgarian standards.

Both quarterly and annual average levels of the cost of living continues to decline. In the second quarter, the cost of leaving decreased by 0.6 percentage points from the first quarter, and the annual cost edged down by 0.7 per cent.
