Summer Schedule of Sofia Airport Offers Direct Air Service to 50 Destinations in Europe, Middle East

Sofia, March 30 (BTA) - The Sofia Airport switched to its summer
schedule on March 29. The airport offers direct air service to
50 cities in Europe and the Middle East. More than 10,500
flights are scheduled for the season. Twenty-two air carriers
will have regular flights to Sofia.

The flights to Vienna are 34 in the week, and to London 31.
There are 22 flights to Frankfurt, 19 to Paris, and 16 each to
Athens and Rome. There are three daily flights to Munich and two
to Istanbul. More than one flights are available daily to
Milan, Brussels, Moscow, Warsaw, Bucharest, Madrid, Tel Aviv and
Amsterdam. Daily flights are offered to Belgrade, Berlin,
Dortmund and Larnaka.

Qatar Airways' direct service from Sofia to Doha offers
convenient connections to exotic destinations five times in the
week throughout the summer.

As of May the SWISS air carrier will fly to Sofia four times in
the week, while the flights to Zurich will increase to nine.

Bulgaria Air offers a new direct flight from Sofia to
Duesseldorf three times weekly.

The Italian air carrier Mistral Air will open a new seasonal
service to Bari.
