Zero Inflation for August, Month on Month and Year on Year - Official Statistics

Sofia, September 14 (BTA) - Monthly inflation in August 2015, measured by the consumer price index (CPI), was 0.0 per cent, compared to the previous month, the National Statistical Institute reported on Monday. The inflation rate since the beginning of the year (August 2015 compared to December 2014) was -0.3 per cent, and the annual inflation in August 2015 compared to August 2014 was 0.0 per cent.

The annual average inflation, measured by the CPI, was 0.2 per cent in the last 12 months (September 2014 - August 2015) compared to the previous 12 months (September 2013 - August 2014).
