Border Police Recommends Avoiding Koulata, Makaza after Holidays

Sofia, September 21 (BTA) - The Border Police recommends to Bulgarians, returning from Greece after the four-day holidays, to avoid Koulata and Makaza checkpoints and use the alternative border crossings at Ilinden, Kapitan Petko Voivoda and Ivailovgrad.

At present the traffic at all border crossing is normal. They operate at full capacity and the admission regime is alleviated to the maximum possible extent.

Due to the intensive traffic expected on Tuesday, the Border Police recommends to drivers to plan their return trips in due time. Busy traffic is expected along Bulgaria's main roads on September 22, which is the last day of a long holiday in this country.

There will be tightened police presence at the main roads and busy junctions. The Traffic Police officers appeal for strict compliance with traffic rules and tolerance on the part of the drivers.
