Sofia, July 12 (BTA) - The Employment Agency said on Wednesday it has opened two new schemes for employment of vulnerable groups. Employers may submit applications between July 13 and 21.

The Agency will subsidize jobs for persons under 24 or over 50, of lower education, with disabilities and those who have been out of work for longer than six months. The Employment Agency will cover 50 per cent of employers' costs towards wages and insurance and up to 75 per cent for people for disabilities.

Employment contracts should be concluded for at least three months and jobs will be subsidized for up to 12 months.

The new schemes are suitable for employers operating in agriculture, fisheries and aquaculture. Until now jobs in these sectors were not subsidized under other programmes and schemes of the Employment Agency because of a number of restrictions.
