site.btaAirplane Goes off Runway at Bourgas Airport

Bourgas, on the Black Sea, July 18 (BTA) - An airplane operated by Travel Service and flying in from Brno, the Czech Republic went off the side of the runway after landing at the airport in the Bulgarian seaside city of Bourgas. The craft was carrying 178 passengers. No one was injured in the incident, the airport's press office said on Tuesday.

The passengers were evacuated immediately. The airport was closed to traffic, so that the airplane could be taken a safe distance away. Traffic was redirected to Varna Airport.
